Captain Morgan is looking for a perfect partner who has experience with young ponies, who can bring out the best in him and when he is old enough, potentially look to start his education to be a ridden or driven pony. He will need someone understanding to help him continue to learn about the world, with plenty of cuddles and affection!
Captain Morgan is a sweet, inquisitive young man who looks to his handler for confidence and reassurance in new and unfamiliar situations. He adores his horsey friends and can be a little unsure on leaving them. He is generally easy to do in all ways however consideration needs to be given to his young age and limited life experience as he can be worried in some situations such as farrier visits and clipping; though he is learning all the time and gives 100% of everything asked.

Description – Captain Morgan is a rising 3 year old, 12.3hh, piebald, cob gelding.
Stabling/Shelter – Lives out 24/7 with access to a shelter. He will happily stable with friends in sight.
Companionship – Lives in a herd of geldings of various ages. He enjoys playing and loves the company of his friends. He has lived next door to mares without any issues.
Forage/Feed – No hard feed given and average grazing while he continues to grow and develop. Once matured, he will need appropriate management for his breed to ensure he remains a healthy weight.
Rugs – Not needed.
Medication – N/A
Feet – Captain Morgan is barefoot and trimmed 6 – 8 weekly. He is worried by the farrier and will need a patient and understanding farrier in the home.
Dentist – Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.
Vet – On arrival to Bransby Horses, Captain Morgan had a high red worm burden which has been treated. He will need an appropriate FWEC and TWST programme in place.
