Bransby Horses is delighted to announce that following the government’s planned easing of the nationwide lockdown, we plan to reopen to the public at 10am on Monday 12th April. We will welcome visitors for a full seven days in the week commencing 12th April, reverting to opening times of Wednesday to Sunday, 10am – 4pm from 19th April.
Based just a few miles north of Lincoln, we normally welcome thousands of visitors each year. Following three months of lockdown, the charity and our horses, ponies, donkeys and mules, very much look forward to welcoming visitors back again.
Jo Snell, Bransby Horses CEO, said: “We cannot wait to welcome visitors back and see new and regular faces saying a much-missed ‘hello’ to our rescue residents. We’re busy getting ready for the reopening, with lots of grooming and clipping to make sure our equines are looking their best in readiness for our visitors.
“There will be plenty for friends and families to see and do when they arrive, including our brand new play park which now caters for children of all ages, with a dedicated toddler area, new slides, swings and climbing frames.”
We are proud to have been certified ‘We’re Good To Go’ by Visit Britain for working hard to implement government and industry COVID-19 guidance to ensure our supporters have a safe and enjoyable visit.
Our Click and Collect service is back and will now serve both the Café and Gift Shop when we reopen, allowing you to pre-order food and grab a bargain or two, all the while helping to ensure their rescue and welfare work will continue in the future.
Visitors of all ages are sure to have a great day out at Bransby Horses, meeting our four-legged residents and exploring miles of picturesque walkways, perfect for your daily exercise or to grab a coffee from the Café and go for a stroll with a friend.
Families can take part in the Easter Egg Hunt until 30th April for £3.50 per child with no need to book.
