Bongo is ready to find his home as a companion with potential!
With a personality larger than life and opinions to match, Bongo is looking for a perfect partner who has experience in bringing on youngsters and someone with a love for cheeky Welsh ponies. Once old enough, Bongo could look to start his education to become a lead-rein or driven pony.
Beautiful Bongo can become defensive around food and may present you with his rear end, so would benefit from having some time invested in training around this aspect of his daily routine in a home environment. He is always grateful to receive a good scratch on his back and chest and he is generally easy to handle. He does have some sensitivity around his ears and poll and can be a little head-shy as a result so requires a gentle and patient approach.
Bongo has bags of potential and could be the missing piece to your family!

Description – Bongo is a 2 year old, 11hh, grey, Welsh gelding.
Stabling/Shelter – Bongo lives out 24/7 with access to a field shelter. He will happily stable when needed.
Companionship – Bongo has only lived in a herd of geldings since being with us and sits toward the top of the hierarchy; he likes to be the pony in charge.
Forage/Feed – Bongo has access to hay in the field and received a feed twice a day made up of stud balancer and ulsakind. When stabled he is provided with soaked hay.
Medication – N/A
Vices – Bongo can be defensive around food, and a little head-shy.
Feet – Barefoot and trimmed 6 weekly. He is good for the farrier.
Dentist – Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.
Vet – Bongo has had one instance of choke since being with us, however he has displayed no further instances of this.
