Say hello to Zanbizzi!

Zanbizzi is a 7 year old, 13hh,Grey – Leopard Apaloosa , Apaloosa x Cob, gelding who is ready to find his home as a non-ridden companion.

Zanbizzi is a sweet boy who is looking for his new home where he can live with a friend or two! He loves a groom and laps up the attention.

Zanbizzi would benefit from a consistent routine to allow him to settle into his new home. Zanbizzi enjoys going on in hand walks and seeing new people and horses, this also helps to manage his weight.

Zanbizzi has a lot of love to give and would like to be able to spend some time getting to know his new fosterer to create a bond.

Zanbizzi is a very loving boy and he also loves his food! He is a sweet gelding and loves to be with his friends in the field as well as enjoying some one on one pamper sessions with his handlers. He is looking for a confident fosterer.

Stabling/Shelter: Zanbizzi currently lives out 24/7 with access to a field shetler, he is also a good boy to stable. Zanbizzi would prefer to live out all year round but will happily stable. Zanbizzi would benefit from flat grazing land due to having hock injections in the past, flat grazing supports his hocks better.

Companionship: Zanbizzi currently lives in a herd of geldings, he is chilled out in the herd and may whinny when left alone but soon settles down and continues to graze in the field.

Forage/Feed: Zanbizzi is currently on restricted grazing and supplemented with forage if grazing becomes too sparse.

Medication: N/A

Farrier: Zanbizzi is currently barefoot and trimmed every 6-8weeks.

Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.

Vices: N/A

Vet: Zanbizzi is a good boy for the vet, he has had laminitis in the past a few years ago so is looking for a home where his weight can be managed. He can get scabby legs at times so has been clipped, he may need sedation to clip his legs. He can get a sunburnt nose in summer so using cream or a mask in summer months helps prevent this. Currently on herdleader for mild sweet itch/reaction to midges. Zanbizzi has had hock injections in the past and this is monitored with a trot up at his annual vaccinations.
