Say hello to Tarbert!
Tarbert is ready to find a home as a non-ridden horse.
Tarbert is an extremely handsome boy who was designed for cuddles. He will rest his head on your shoulder for hours while you give him hugs and cuddles, he really is a big teddy bear. If he finds you in the field not giving him attention, he will follow you around and politely remind you that giving him a fuss should be your top priority!
Tarbert likes to live life in the slow lane, however, he does enjoy taking part in activities to keep his brain active. He particularly enjoys going on in-hand strolls in the countryside and takes in the views. Tarbert also enjoys doing some in-hand polework, this is beneficial to his mental wellbeing and building a bond with his handler. Due to his age Tarbert requires clear direction otherwise he can become a bit worried if he gets confused.
Tarbert has a heart of gold and is an all round good lad, always aiming to please. His perfect partner would be someone with the time to give him the love and attention he so deserves. He would like to live with other geldings who enjoy mutual grooming, the occasional playtime and a good old snooze!
Tarbert currently lives out 24/7 with access to shelter. He will happily come into the stable with friends in sight. He requires restricted grazing to appropriately manage his weight.
