Taliah is a 7 year old, 12.3hh, piebald, cob, mare who is ready to find her home as a non-ridden companion.
Taliah is looking for a perfect partner who can provide consistent handling and plenty of love. She enjoys having time spent with her and putting her big brain to something!
Taliah is looking to build a bond with her new fosterer and give all the love she has to offer.
Taliah is a characterful young lady who knows her own mind and always brings a smile to your face with her shining personality. She benefits from being in a consistent routine with regular handling so that she knows what is expected of her.
She is generally good to do, She aims to please and loves a lot of fuss and attention!
Stabling/Shelter: Taliah lives out 24/7 with access to a shelter, in the summer Taliah lives on a track system and will also happily stable as long as she has friends in sight.
Companionship: Taliah lives in a herd of mares at present and causes no issues within the group and enjoys being around her friends.
Forage/Feed: No hard feed and restricted grazing to appropriately manage her weight. If grazing becomes too sparse she is supplemented with low-calorie hay/ straw mix.
Medication: N/A
Farrier: Taliah is currently barefoot and is trimmed every 6-8 weeks and is good for the farrier but would require a patient farrier due to her mallenders.
Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.
Vices: N/A
Vet:Taliah is nervous of needles. She has a history of mallenders behind her knees which will need appropriate management.
