Selina is a 13 year old, 14.2hh, black, Welsh, mare who is ready to find her home as a non-ridden companion.
Selina is looking for her new home to ideally be able to live in a large field with her new field companions and always have them in sight and around her.
Selina loves interacting with humans as well as grazing in the field with her friends.
Selina is looking for her new fosterer to be able to give her a consistent routine, lots of one on one attention with grooming sessions and in hand walks.
Selina loves a groom and a cuddle and is looking for her new fosterer to be able to spend time with her and be patient with her.
Selina is a very sweet natured girl and is very interactive with people, she enjoys her food and is always willing to give anything a go.
Selina is a very kind and loving girl who loves to create a bond with her handlers.
Stabling/Shelter: Selina currently lives out 24/7 with access to a field shelter, she prefers living out however will stable as long as there is a friend in sight and has forage to occupy her but will become fidgity for long periods of time. Selina has been on a track system in the past which is beneficial for her weight management so would suit a home with all year turn out or a track system. Selina would benefit from a home where stabling isn’t part of the routine.
Companionship: Selina likes to be around her field companions and sits more towards the top of the field hierarchy. Selina doesn’t like being left alone however will settle for short periods of time with forage.
Forage/Feed: Selina is currently on no hard feed, she is on restricted grazing and has a hay/straw mix when grazing becomes too sparse. Selina has been on a track system in the past which has benefited her weight management.
Medication: N/A
Farrier: Selina has 2 front shoes and barefoot behind, she is trimmed every 6weeks and is a good girl for the farrier.
Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.
Vices: N/A
Vet: Selina is a good girl for the vet and needles.
