Puffin is a 11hh, 1 year 6month old, blue + white cob gelding, who is ready to find a home as a non-ridden companion.
Puffin is looking for his perfect partner foster home where he can build a bond with his new fosterer and have someone who can give him lots of fuss and attention.
Puffin has a big personality for such a small pony and loves following you around the field for a cuddle and a fuss. Puffin as a whole is a really good boy, he has continued to gain confidence since being with the charity and always puts a smile on your face!
Puffin is looking for his forever home where he can continue to learn about life and experience it in a positive manor; having time to explore and play with friends and interacting with people too.
Puffin is young, and recently castrated, with this in mind Puffin can display some colt behaviours and strike his front leg when excited and will jog on walks so is looking for an experienced new foster home who has handled boisterous horses in the past.
Stabling/Shelter: Puffin would enjoy company of other geldings, he is playful and thrives off company. He will stable through winter at night if required and is happy in a stable with others around him.
Companionship: Puffin enjoys company from other geldings of similar age.; his friends have always been bigger than him. He is very interactive and playful within the herd and enjoys being around others.
Forage/Feed: Puffin is currently on Stud balancer and ulca kind for vitamins and minerals and to supplement him through winter and growth
Puffin currently lives out on 24/7 grazing and is supplemented with low calorie hay when grazing is sparse.
Medication: N/A
Farrier: Puffin is good for the farrier and is currently barefoot and has a trim every 6weeks.
Dentist: Sedated as per standard Bransby Horses procedure.
Vices: N/A
Vet: Puffin is good for the vet but can be nervous of needles so a patient vet and fosterer would benefit him to gain his confidence.
