Mississippi is a 16 year old, 13.1hh, grey roan, cob, mare who is ready to find her home as a non-ridden companion.
Mississippi’s Perfect Partner would be someone with plenty of time to pamper and love her as much as she wants.
She thoroughly enjoys a groom, bath, plaiting session. She also enjoys going on in-hand walks and exploring the world.
Mississippi is a very laid back, passive lady who likes to live life in the slow lane. She is extremely sweet and loves human company, especially when it comes to cuddles, grooming and pampering.
She is good to do in all ways, respectful of boundaries and rarely puts a foot wrong.
Stabling/Shelter: Mississippi currently lives out 24/7 with access to shelter on one of our track systems to appropriately manage her weight. She will happily stable with friends next to her.
Companionship: Mississippi always needs a companion with her as she becomes stressed when left on her own.
Forage/Feed: Mississippi is on restricted grazing in order to appropriately manage her weight. She receives a low calorie hay/straw mix when grazing becomes too sparse.
Medication: N/A
Farrier: Mississippi is barefoot and trimmed on a 6 week cycle. She is a good girl for the farrier.
Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure. Mississippi is on 6monthly dentals.
Vices: Mississippi must always have a friend with her in the field and not be left on her own.
Vet: Mississippi can suffer with itchy legs, this would need to be monitored and treated when necessary.
