Say hello to Lotso!

Lotso is a 11.2hh, 3-year-old, Piebald cob gelding, who is ready to find a home as a non-ridden pony.

Lotso is looking for his new home to be with a fosterer who would take the time to get to know him by lots of grooming sessions and in hand walks as he loves to explore!

Lotso loves fuss and attention and is always the first one to greet you in the field.

Lotso would like a handler who can continue his growing confidence and bring out his loveable personality!

Lotso is a really sweet boy who has really grown in confidence. Lotso would love a quiter companion who enjoys mutal grooming and grazing with each other!

Stabling/Shelter: Lotso currently is living out 24/7 on moderate grazing in winter and on restricted grazing in summer months. Lotso will happily stable with a friend in sight and a haynet to munch on.

Companionship: Lotso likes being able to see other equines, is happy with him and one other in the same field, he currently lives in a mixed aged gelding herd, he does prefer a quieter companion. Lotso doesn’t mind a play but wouldn’t like an overly playful companion.

Forage/Feed: Lotso is currently living out and has some hay in the field spread out.

Medication: N/A

Farrier: Lotso is generally a good boy for the farrier but would benefit from a patient farrier as he sometimes becomes unbalanced, he is currently barefoot and trimmed every 6weeks.

Dentist: Sedated as per standard Bransby Horses procedure.

Vices: N/A

Vet: Lotso has management for a worm burdan he has had in the past, he’s currently on a track system which is swept every 24/48 hours, he would need a home that could ensure his field would be poo picked daily. Lotso has been known to colic after worming, for this he gets equipreds before, during and after worming to help. Lotso is a good boy for the vet, he settles with treats when vaccinating.
