Hershy is a 13 year old, 12.3hh, piebald, cob, mare who is ready to find her home as a non-ridden companion.
Hershy is looking for her perfect match to be someone who would like to spend lots of one on one time with her to include pamper sessions and in hand walks.
Hershy is easy to do in all ways and is a pleasure to be around! Hershy always comes up to you to greet you in the field for a good scratch and cuddle!
Hershy would like a consistent routine and time to get to know her new environment and friends.
Hershy has a very laid back, easy to do temperament and loves one on one attention, she thoroughly enjoys grooming session!
Hershy is very relaxed and enjoys going for in hand walks to explore new places and meet new people and ponies around the farm. Hershy happily setlles in most herd dynamics and is a chilled out lady.
Stabling/Shelter: Hershy currently lives out 24/7 with access to a field shelter and would benefit from being on a track system or somewhere with sparse grazing to manage her weight. Hershy will happily stable with forage.
Companionship: Hershy loves to be around her field companions and is very relaxed in the field. Hershy sits in the middle of the herd dynamic and isn’t one to cause trouble, she has lived in large and small herds of mares but has also lived next door to geldings.
Forage/Feed: Hershy is on 24/7 sparse grazing and has forage if needed, she is not on any hard feed but does have 1/4 scoop of joint supplement daily due to previous laminitis.
Medication: N/A
Farrier: Hershy is barefoot and is trimmed every 6-8weeks and is a good girl for the farrier.
Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.
Vices: Hershy has no vices.
Vet: Hershy is a good girl for the vet, she has had hock medication in the past and would need this monitoring usually at the time of annual vaccinations.
