Esmerelda is a 13hh, 9 year old, piebald cob mare, who is ready to find a home as a non-ridden companion.
Esmerelda is a lovely mare who enjoys your company and loves a groom! She would benefit from a new fosterer with knowledge of PSSM 1 who is happy to take her for gentle exercise such as in hand walks to help with this.
Esmerelda would love a home with another equine that enjoys a mutual groom and play.
Esmerelda is a lovely mare who does well with consistent handling, and would like a new fosterer who would be confident and patient with her.
Esmerelda does enjoy being groomed and having a pamper so would love someone who would give her the fuss and attention she loves!
Stabling/Shelter: Esmerelda currently lives on a track system to help with gentle movement to aid with weight management, she would need modrate grazing and would prefer to live out 24/7 due to her having PSSM1 to help manage this. Esmerelda will stable happily but would not like to be stabled for long periods of time due to her PSSM1.
Companionship: Esmerelda currently lives in a mixed herd and sits comfortably in the middle of the herd, she likes a mutual groom and a play so would enjoy another equine that also enjoys mutual grooming.
Forage/Feed: Esmerelda is currently living out 24/7 and has forage split between the herd on the track, she has 250g fibre feed and a Vitamin E supplement daily.
Medication: N/A
Farrier: Esmerelda is barefoot and trimmed every 6weeks.
Dentist: Sedated as per standard Bransby Horses procedure.
Vices: N/A
Vet: Esmerelda is a good girl for the vet, she does have PSSM1.
