Conrad is a 4 year old, 13hh, bay, Welsh gelding who is looking for a home as a project.
Conrad is a sweet young man who is showing real promise in his education. He is good to do in all ways and loves having a cuddle in the field from his handlers, often resting his head on your shoulder. He would benefit from a home where he will be in regular work as he has a busy mind and has proven himself to be both sweet and honest in all that is asked of him. He is looking for a perfect partner who has experience in bringing on young and inexperienced horses, allowing them to reach their full potential.
Conrad is at the very early stages of being backed, with all groundwork established. He is confident out on the long-lines around the farm both alone and in company. He has been free jumped, showing real promise over the fence and has had a person sit on but needs to carry on his education with an experienced perfect partner.
Conrad lives out 24/7 with access to a shelter and will happily stable with friends in sight.
Conrad can live with both mares and geldings and is passive within the herd.
Conrad is on good quality grazing while he continues to grow and mature. He receives low-calorie hay when needed.
Farrier: Barefoot and trimmed 6-8 weekly. Due to his young age, he can be a little cheeky with his feet; testing boundaries with new people. He is never nasty with this but may lay down.
Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.
