Everyone is invited to step into an enchanted world with us to find the hidden fairy doors around our walkways.
From May through until June 30 this mystically themed activity takes visitors along the pushchair friendly walkways around our charity site in Bransby just outside Lincoln.
Entry is free and trail sheets are just £3.50 and include a special prize at the end.
Maria Thompson, Bransby Horses spokesperson, said: “There’s plenty for friends and families to see and do when they arrive, including our play park which caters for children of all ages, with a dedicated toddler area, slides, swings and climbing frames.
“You’ll be able to see our rescued residents out in their paddocks and the donkeys are now back out and on view in their fields along the Gemma’s Jaunt walkway.”
As well as the activity trail there will be a children’s story time once a month.
Aimed at younger children these events feature a reading of Bransby Horses’ Pudding series books, followed by another horse related story.
Maria added: “Story time is free and takes place outside in our picnic area so please bring a blanket and come and join us. Dates and times will be posted on the Bransby Horses Facebook page so check before you travel. So far this has been super popular with around 40 children enjoying the event.”
The next story time takes place on June 1 at 2pm, followed by another on July 27 and weekly throughout August 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 all at 2pm.
After all that excitement families can head to Bransby Horses Café which serves breakfast, lunch and light refreshments to eat in or takeaway.
There’s also a Donated Goods and Tack Shop to browse, filled with pre-loved bargains.
A visit to Bransby Horses is not only a fun day out but also a great way to support animal welfare.
Bransby Horses are open Wednesday to Sunday 10am – 4pm.
