Winter Warmer: Stef and Lottie

Lottie has been with Stef for 2 years in March! We caught up with this lovely pair as a little Winter warmer update for you all.

I have had Lottie for 2 years in March and I chose to rehome a rescue after my horse was put to sleep, I felt so empty when he had gone. I knew Lottie from working with her and she was always one of my favourites, her wicker every morning I walked on the yard melted my heart. Lottie soon moved into the Riding Barn, I waited for her to complete her riding training and to go live on the website, as soon as she did I applied straight away!

The rehoming process is so smooth and I would definitely rehome a rescue horse again as each horse and fosterer are matched perfectly. I work for Bransby Horses and see daily how rescue work changes an equines life. Rehoming an equine can create space for others in need.

Since living with me, Lottie’s personality has flourished, she is so cheeky and very rarely walks anywhere, going fast is her favourite thing. Every single day I go to the yard she brings a huge smile to my face and still to this day wickers at me every time she sees me.

This winter has consumed of lots of baths and new rugs for Lottie as bucking and broncing around the muddy field is just so much fun.

Lottie means the world to me and I am forever grateful to the rehoming team for allowing me to give her a loving home.
