Say hello to Zander!
is a 2 year old, 12.3hh, black, cob, gelding who is ready to find his home as a non-ridden companion.
Zander is looking for someone who can give him lots of attention and interaction and help him learn new things.
Zander is a very chilled out character, easy to do most things with, loves human interaction and going on in hand walks to meet new people and see new things around the farm.
Due to his young age he is still learning so is looking for someone who has experience and the time to spend with him and teach him.
Zander is an inquisitive smart boy who loves to learn new things and always tries his hardest. He is very pleasant to be around.
Stabling/Shelter: Zander lives out 24/7 with access to a field shelter and can be stabled with forage or a treat ball to keep him occupied as he can sometimes take time to settle when coming into stable to begin with.
Companionship: Zander currently lives within a small herd and sits in the middle to the top of the herd dynamic, he can sometimes push others off hay piles to start with but is not nasty with this and will happily share. He will happily live with mares or geldings.
Forage/Feed: Zander is currently on 24/7 minimal grazing and given forage when grazing becomes too sparse, he has 1 scoop of all in one once a day due to his young age.
Medication: N/A
Farrier: Zander can be nervous for the farrier if hasn’t had his feet picked out regularly so would benefit from his feet being handled and picked out regularly as he currently does. He would benefit from a patient farrier.
Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.
Vices: N/A
Vet: Zander is a good boy for the vet. He can get scabby legs at times and has been sedated to clip these out when needed.
Medication: N/A
