Doris is a 11 year old, 13hh, piebald, cob, mare who is ready to find her home as a non-ridden companion.

Doris is a sweet natured quiet mare who loves plenty of fuss and attention. Doris would enjoy spending lots of time with her new fosterer and enjoys in hand walks, she would like to explore her new environment.

Doris is looking for a new home where she can interact with her field companions as well as her new fosterer.

Doris is a calm natured mare, very friendly and good to do in all ways. Doris enjoys to interact with her handlers and enjoys being around her field companions.

Stabling/Shelter: Doris currently lives out 24/7 with access to a field shelter. Doris can be left on her own in the field with other equines in sight. 

Companionship: Doris mixes well within all herds and will happily live with mares or geldings. Doris sits in the middle of the herd dynamic. 

Forage/Feed: Grazing 24/7 and is supplemented with hay if grazing becomes too sparse.

Medication: N/A

Farrier: Barefoot trimmed every 6weeks, good for the farrier.

Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure. 

Vices: N/A.

Vet: Good for the vet, can be nervous of injections. Doris has had sand colic in the past and is on psyllium supplement for this.
