Say hello to Troy!
Troy is a 16 year old, 11.2hh, grey, Welsh, gelding who is ready to find his home as a non-ridden companion.
Troy is a very sweet and loving boy, he would like a home where he can have a consistent routine and be taken on in hand walks with his new fosterer and be able to spend time with him to create a bond.
Troy has a sweet nature, he can be a little nervous to begin with but when he gets to know you gives you 100% and loves spending time with you!
Troy will happily come over to you in the field when he is called when he has built a bond with you.
Stabling/Shelter: Troy is currently living out in a herd of 10 other geldings, he has lived in smaller herds and seems happy in either size.
Companionship: Troy enjoys being around other equines and will happily play with his friends in the field, he is a confident boy but will avoid any conflict within the herd as he is likes a more laid back lifestyle.
Forage/Feed: Troy is currently living out 24/7 on restricted grazing and has hay when the grazing becomes too sparse.
Medication: N/A
Farrier: Troy is currently barefoot and is trimmed every 6weeks, he can be nervous for the farrier and settles when having a few snacks from his handler. Troy has shoes on in the summer to support his feet when the ground is hard.
Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure. Troy has a diastema and has the dentist on a 6monthly rota,
Vices: N/A.
Vet: Troy is a good boy for the vet.
Medication: Rheumocam daily for his SCC.
