Rosie is a 21 year old, 8hh, skewbald, Shetland, mare who is ready to find her home as a non-ridden companion.

Rosie is a super friendly, affectionate mare who loves a cuddle and a groom.

Rosie is looking for a new home where she will get lots of attention and bonding time with her as well as someone who will understand her dietary needs.

Rosie would benefit from a consistent routine and time to get to know her new field friends and companions.

Rosie loves to go on adventures around site on her in hand walks greeting everyone as she goes by and would like to continue her in hand walks in her new home.

Rosie has a lovely temperament and is easy to do in all ways. Rosie has so much love to give and is such a sweet lady.

Stabling/Shelter: Rosie currently lives out 24/7 with access to a field shelter, Rosie does stable if friends are in stables next to her or nearby as she can become unsettled if stabled alone, due to her dietary requirements Rosie is looking for a home where she can live out 24/7 for grazing. 

Companionship: Rosie loves to be with her field companions and currently lives in a small herd with four other mares, she has lived in bigger herds and settles in well and likes to makes friends. 

Forage/Feed: Rosie is currently on 24/7 grazing and on no forage at the minute.

Medication: N/A

Farrier: Rosie is barefoot and has a trim every 6-8weeks, she is a good girl for the farrier. 

Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure. 6monthly dentals. 

Vices: N/A. Grass only diet. 

Vet: Rosie is good for the vet and benefits from having some snacks to encourage positive reinforcement when being seen to by a new vet.
Rosie is on a no forage diet at the moment due to having loose stools, if forage was needed to be re introduced to her diet, a gut balancer would be advised along with being monitored by her vets.
