Say hello to Yorkie + Buttons!
Yorkie is a 2year old, 13.1hh, brown/bay, Jenny Donkey and Buttons is a 2year old, 10.1hh, brown/bay, Jenny Donkey who are ready to find their home as a bonded pair non-ridden companion.
Buttons + Yorkie are looking for a home to be with an experienced fosterer who has good knowledge of youngsters and donkeys.
Buttons is an energetic girl who enjoys lots of attention! Buttons would benefit from having a consistent routine with a confident fosterer to continue her education and keep handling and interacting with her on a regular basis. Buttons is very inquisitive and intelligent and loves to be involved no matter what.
Yorkie is looking to continue her education with a confident fosterer as she loves to interact with humans. Yorkie loves cuddles and is always the first to greet the staff in the field!
Yorkie and Buttons have a lot of love to offer and would like lots of enrichment, including going on walks with their new fosterer, to keep them busy.
Buttons and Yorkie come as a bonded pair, they are looking for a fosterer who can take on the adorable duo!
Stabling/Shelter: Buttons + Yorkie currently have 24/7 turnout in the summer and come in to dry areas over winter and wet months. Buttons + Yorkie can stable with a together as they don’t like being in a stable by themselves.
Companionship: Yorkie + Buttons require to be together as a bonded pair at all times and also enjoy being around their other field friends. The pair are both very playful and love to interact with their field companions.
Forage/Feed: Buttons + Yorkie are currently on barley Straw which is available ad lib. The pair also receive a donkey balancer for extra vitamin and minerals daily. Buttons is very interested in her food and prefers to be left alone when eating. Yorkie has ulsa kind to help with her growth spurts.
Medication: N/A
Farrier: The pair are both barefoot and trimmed every 6weeks, Yorkie can be fidgety at times due to her young age and still growing so would benefit from an experienced farrier.
Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.
Vices: N/A.
Vet: Buttons + Yorkie are both good for the vet, Buttons would benefit from a patient vet as she can be unsure of needles, she has started clicker training to help with this.
