Jules is a 12.2hh, 5 year old, cob mare, who is ready to find a home as a non-ridden companion.
Jules is looking for a perfect partner who has experience with young and nervous ponies and who can spend time with her, building a bond and learning how to trust again. Once trusting of her handler, she looks to them for guidance and confidence so Jules is looking for someone who can build a real bond with her and enjoy the love this beautiful mare has to offer!
Jules can be a little worried in new situations at times and would like a quiet and patient new fosterer to build a bond with. Jules is young, with limited life experiences so would benefit from a loving home where she can learn what it means to be a beloved member of a family.
Jules can get nervous at times when being caught in the field and would really benefit from a one to one home where she can have a consistent routine. She enjoys having a good groom but is sensitive with her feathers being touched so Jules would benefit from a patient fosterer who is able to spend time with her and build her confidence.
Stabling/Shelter: Jules lives out 24/7 with access to a shelter. She will happily stable when needed.
Companionship: Jules would benefit from a quiet but confident companion who can show her the ropes and help her grow in confidence and be her friend.
Forage/Feed: No hard feed given, on grazing 24/7 at present and supplemented with hay through winter.
Medication: N/A
Farrier: Barefoot and trimmed 6-8 weekly. She is a good girl for the farrier.
Dentist: Sedated as per standard Bransby Horses procedure.
Vices: N/A
Vet: Jules is needle shy so would require a quiet and patient vet.
