Say hello to Fleur!

Fleur is a 8.2hh, 10 year old, palomino Shetland mare, who is ready to find a home as a non-ridden companion.

Fleur is looking for a perfect partner who will shower her with love and affection. Someone who is able to appropriately manager her weight and EMS is a must in order to keep her happy and healthy.

She would love for someone to take her out on regular in-hand walks as she adores meeting new people and exploring; happily trotting alongside you without getting strong. Fleur is incredibly friendly and loves attention.

Fleur is a stunning girl who is very inquisitive and full of friendly character. She is always the first to greet you, loving nothing more than a good cuddle and fuss. She can be a little keen to see what you might have in your pockets for her so we try to avoid feeding treats. Fleur is easy to do in all ways and an absolute yard favourite!

Stabling/Shelter: Fleur currently lives in a herd of ponies with EMS. Her current routine is turned out for a maximum of 4 hours between October and February, with the rest of her time being spent on a roomy wood-chip pad with her friends. Fleur is happy in a stable with some forage and friends in sight and loves to come in for a pamper.

Companionship: Fleur gets on well with her companions and always makes friends in her herd. She happily lives with both mares and geldings.

Forage/Feed: No hard feed given. Fleur is on restricted grazing to manage her EMS and keep her comfortable.

Medication: N/A

Farrier: Fleur is currently barefoot and trimmed every 6-8 weeks, she is a good girl for the farrier.

Dentist: Sedated as per standard Bransby Horses procedure.

Vices: N/A

Vet: Fleur is a good girl for the vet and has EMS and a history of laminitis so will need appropriate management and would benefit from a fosterer with knowledge of EMS and laminitis.

Medication: N/A
