Say hello to Shrek!
Shrek is a 15 year old, 11hh, black, Dartmoor pony who is looking for a home as a driving pony.
*Shrek is not located at our Bransby Horses site*
Shrek is an experienced driving pony who is looking for his new family to love and enjoy his company. He is a versatile boy who is happy going on pleasure rides and equally happy taking it up a gear and going to competitions. He has experienced driving trials and driven dressage competitions, taking everything in his stride. He is prone to weight gain and has a history of laminitis so would need a home where he will be appropriately manages and in regular work to keep him fit and healthy. Shrek is good to do and a real pleasure to have on the yard. He enjoys interaction from his handlers and loves nothing more than a good groom and pamper.
He lives out 24/7 with access to a shelter and will happily stable with friends in sight.
Rugs: Not Needed unless clipped and in work.
Shrek lives with geldings and has shown no issues when around mares.
No hard feed and restricted grazing to appropriately manage his weight. He will require appropriate management to ensure he remains at a healthy weight.
Farrier: Barefoot and trimmed 6 weekly. He is good for the farrier.
Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.
Vices: N/A
Vet: Shrek has a history of laminitis so will need appropriate management to ensure he remains happy and healthy.
