Say hello to Tex!
Tex is a 11 year old, 13.1hh, piebald, cob, gelding who is ready to find his home as a ridden pony.
Tex would suit an active home, either someone who would like to continue with local shows and clinics or even a competent child that is looking for a PC pony.
He is not a first ridden though and is more of a second ridden. He has done some showing in the past and recently has been a pleasure type of pony used for hacking, schooling and low level competitions and pleasure rides.
Tex a a friendly boy, but can be sensitive at times. Therefore he can take a little while to trust new people.
Tex is good to handle and groom, he lunge’s and is competent in low level schooling in all paces. He has done limited amount of jumping but shows enthusiasm and willingness.
Tex is currently not in work and is looking for a knowledgeable fosterer to bring him back into work.
Stabling/Shelter: Tex lives out but is happy to come into a stable if needed.
Companionship: Tex has been out with both mares and geldings in a mixed herd, He would like a field companion in the field with him rather than just a neighbour.
Forage/Feed: Forage diet, hay supplementing grazing.
Medication: N/A
Farrier: Good with farrier, he is barefoot and trimmed every 6-8weeks.
Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.
