Say hello to Snowbunting!

Snowbunting is an 11hh, 5 year old, skewbald, cob mare who is ready to find a home as a non-ridden pony.

Snowbunting is a beautiful young pony who attracts the attention of everyone she meets. She is a sweet natured girl who comes trotting up to see you in the morning to say “hello”. She is a firm favourite across the farm for her adorable looks and shining personality.

Snowbunting came to Bransby Horses unhandled with a foal at foot. She was the most incredible mother, and after weaning, she began handling training. It took almost no time at all for Snowbunting to gain trust in humans, after all, the humans often bring snacks and scratches with them! She has now blossomed into a lovely young lady who is eager to please. Snowbunting loves going on in hand walks with her friends, greeting visitors and taking in all that she can on her adventures.

Snowbunting’s Perfect Partner would be someone with plenty of time to spend cuddling and fussing her. Although she is young, she is sensible and good to do in all ways.

Snowbunting currently lives out 24/7 with access to shelter but will happily stable with friends in sight.

Rugs: Not Needed

Snowbunting has lived with both mares and geldings and does not cause any issues in the herd. She is passive and tends to sit at the bottom of the hierarchy.

Forage/Feed: Snowbunting is on restricted grazing to appropriately manage her weight. She receives a low calorie hay/straw mix when grazing becomes too sparse. She does not receive a hard feed, but does receive an All-in-One supplement and Milk Thistle to support her liver.

Farrier: Snowbunting is barefoot and is trimmed on a 6 week cycle. She is a good girl for the farrier, providing they take their time with her.
