Rusty was born at Bransby Horses, following the rescue of his mother. He has a larger than life personality and is the perfect blank canvas for someone. Rusty is looking for a perfect partner who has experience in working with youngsters and backing horses as once he is old enough, Rusty could potentially start his career as a ridden / lead rein pony.
Rusty is proving to be an exceptionally brave and bold young man who takes everything in his stride, keen to learn new things and is always eager to please. He loves receiving attention and fuss from his handlers; he would happily stand all day for this and will always come over to greet you in the field. Due to his young age, he benefits from being in a routine with consistent boundaries in place. Rusty will happily lead while out on in-hand walks and is brave when faced with something new.

Description – Rusty is a rising 2 year old, 10.3hh, Welsh, chestnut gelding.
Stabling/Shelter – He lives out 24/7 with access to a shelter and will happily stable with friends in sight.
Companionship – Rusty is a passive young man who happily lives with both mares and geldings.
Forage/Feed – No hard feed given and he is on average grazing to support him as he grows and matures.
Rugs – Not needed.
Vices – N/A
Medication – N/A
Feet – Barefoot and trimmed 6 weekly. He is generally good for the farrier, however due to his young age he can be a little fidgety so will benefit from a patient and understanding farrier.
Dentist – Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.
Vet – Rusty has no ongoing health concerns.
