Say hello to Diago
Diago is now looking for a home as a non-ridden companion.
Diago is an exceptionally handsome young man with a sweet and gentle nature to go with it. He can be a little timid so will need a perfect partner who will take their time with him and help him grow in confidence. Within the herd, Diago is passive and quiet however with a select few friends, he will be playful. Once Diago has built a bond with you he will do everything in his power to please; though if pushed too far too soon he will exhibit ‘shutting down’ behaviour. Due to this we are seeking a Perfect Partner who has experience of anxious horses, who will allow him to adjust in his own time and at his own pace. Diago is a very rewarding boy to work with and will thrive in a loving one to one home that he so deserves.

Description – Diago is an 8 year old, 13.2hh, black, cob gelding.
Stabling/Shelter – Diago currently lives out 24/7 with access to a field shelter. He will happily stable with other equines in sight.
Companionship – Currently living in a herd of geldings of various ages. He is placid within the herd and doesn’t cause any issues.
Forage/Feed – No hard feed given and he is on restricted grazing. If grazing becomes too sparse in winter he is supplemented with low-calorie hay.
Ailments – None
Feet – Barefoot and trimmed 6 weekly. Diago is good for the farrier but can be wary of unfamiliar people picking up his feet so will need consistency with this.
Dentist – Sedated as part of Bransby Horses procedure.
