Dafina is a 7 year old, 11.2hh, light bay, Welsh, mare who is ready to find her home as a lead rein pony.
Dafina is looking for an experienced home that will continue Dafina’s education as an established lead rein pony. She has had a good start and has had a small rider being led off the head collar. She has been bitted and is working well on the lunge and the long lines.
Dafina is a sensitive mare, that said she is sweet and enjoys a a groom and is good around children.
She has had a good start and has had a small rider on in a little cub saddle being led off the head collar. She has been bitted and is working well on the lunge and the long lines.
She can be forward on the lunge to start with but soon settles and works well. She has attended local shows and has been shown in hand. She was good to travel loaded well into a trailer.
Stabling/Shelter: Dafina lives out at present and comes in daily for handling and work. She settles well to this regular routine.
Companionship: Dafina is currently living out with other equines in sight. She has lived out in a small herd with both mares, geldings and sheep.
Forage/Feed: Dafina is currently on a forage diet.
Medication: N/A
Farrier: Dafina is barefoot and good for the farrier.
Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.
Vices: N/A
Vet: No known health issues. She can be a little nervous of the vet and needles so will need reassurance for vaccinations.
