Cora is a 7 year old, 12.3hh, piebald, cob, mare who is ready to find her home as a ridden.
Cora is a friendly girl that is happy to stand for a groom and a fuss.
Cora is still green in her education but does enjoy her work. She especially enjoys hacking and can keep up with the big horses.
She would like a small adult under 5’3″ and under 10 stone who enjoys hacking out and exploring the country side.
Cora is a forward mare and does step out. She likes to be ridden forward into her contact as she can be sensitive with restricted rein. She is great in traffic so could nanny children on their ponies.
Cora is currently happy working in the arena in walk and trot and is responsive to the leg aid. She can manage changes of rein and larger school movements. Her balance and rhythm is improving all the time and she does learn easily. She has had short canters out hacking but her canter does need some work.
Stabling/Shelter: Cora would prefer to live out, she likes to have a friend present when in the field or back in the stable block.
Companionship: She likes a friend with her in the field. Although she will turn out alone with companions nearby in sight. She has been known to go through electric fencing so needs post and rail.
Forage/Feed: Cora is on a forage only diet. She is a good doer and would only need a vit and mineral supplement along side a handful of chop.
Medication: N/A
Farrier: Barefoot, trimmed every 6weeks and is good for the farrier.
Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.
