Animal welfare supporters can make their Valentines’ even more meaningful this year by sponsoring one of our rescued residents.
Dedicated to protecting the lives of equines, we have over a thousand in our care and a few of them can be sponsored for as little as £3 a month.
On signing-up you or your valentine will receive a sponsorship pack, which includes a certificate and special photo of their chosen Sponsorship Star, along with their animal’s story.
You will then receive regular updates about your equine’s ongoing care and training.
Senior Communications Officer Maria Thompson said: “Bransby Horses’ Sponsorship Star scheme is a lovely way to support the work of our charity, which not only includes the rescue of horses from mistreatment and neglect, but also helps feed and care for over 300 animals currently living here at our site near Lincoln.
“We welcome visitors to our center too, where it may be possible to meet your Sponsorship Star in the flesh. We advise people to call in advance if they are hoping to meet their Sponsorship Star, just in case they are not at the Visitor’s Centre on that day. But even if they are not, you can take a stroll around the site and meet some of the other equines we have rescued, as well as enjoying tea for two for £30 (from Wednesday to Friday throughout February).”
Bransby Horses rely entirely on donations from the public, we must raise over £6m each year in order to support the animals in our care and be there for horses in need.
