Opal goes to a new home in time for Christmas

12th December 2019

Bransby Horses rescued Opal in 2013 when she was found abandoned in the Welsh mountains, shy and very nervous around people. This gentle and sweet pony first lived at the charity’s Stoke Prior site and was then moved to site at Bransby in 2018, where the team worked hard to gain her trust.

Great news! After three years looking for the perfect home and family, Opal is now heading to her new home! She is leaving Bransby to join another Bransby Horses pony, Pixie, in the Lincolnshire countryside with her amazing new fosterers.

This week, the charity wished her well, saying “we hope you enjoy the next chapter of your life with your new family (even though you will always remain very much part of ours)!”

If you are interested in rehoming a horse or pony from Bransby Horses and you believe you have everything you need to care for an equine and more, please visit the Rehoming section of the website today. The Bransby Horses fantastic fosterers help the charity give equines who have had a tough start in life, a second chance.
