Say hello to Rouge!
Rouge is a 1 year 9month old, 11.3hh, skewbald, Cob, gelding who is ready to find her home as a companion with potential.
Rouge is looking for a home with someone who has the time, patience and experience for a young equine.
Rouge would like someone will continue his handling from the ground until he is ready to start the backing process when he is over 4 years old.
Due to his temperament, he could make a lovely child’s ridden pony in the future.
He is very laid back and loves to meet visitors through the fence on site. He has taken to his handling very well and seems very grounded for such a young pony.
Rouge is an inquisitive type. He loves attention and will trot over to see you in the field. He is very friendly and likes the company of people.
Stabling/Shelter: Rouge lives out but happily comes into the stable yard and is laid back. He is happy to be left alone in the stable as long as he has a haynet to munch on.
Companionship: Rouge is in a small herd of geldings. He is middle of the pecking order. He doesn’t get too attached to his field mates and will happily leave the field without them.
Forage/Feed: Stud balancer whilst still growing and a joint supplement.
Farrier: He is trimmed all round and still needs some work with the farrier, he can be a little snatchy with his legs and needs some positive reinforcement to help.
Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.
