Jupiter is a 6 year old, 13.1hh, piebald, Cob, Gelding who is ready to find his home as a ridden pony with a weight limit of 9 stone.
Jupiter is a friendly boy who loves attention. He will search your pockets for treats and loves a groom. He is a vey social boy in the field and would love a companion that likes a good groom just as much as he does. Jupiter has lived with both mares and geldings but is currently living out with a gelding. He is a strong little cob and may need reminding of his manners but has no maliciousness in him.
Jupiter may take a few weeks to settle into a new environment however once he’s settled and had time to create a bond he will be a pleasure to own. He loves his hacking and would love to go on lots of fun adventures with his new fosterer.
Jupiter’s perfect partner would be a small adult that would love to go hacking and explore the countryside weather that’s solo or with friends. He does not find work in the arena enjoyable and has been fairly tense when asked to work, He is much more relaxed and happy out hacking. He is a forward ride and can have the odd spook at a plastic bag in a hedge, but is well mannered out in the open trotting and cantering when asked and pulls up with ease.
Jupiter currently lives out 24/7 with access to a shelter. Can be stabled for very short periods of time.
Rugs: Currently doesn’t need rugging unless clipped.
