Pumpkin Picking in Lincoln with Bransby Horses

27th September 2024

Horse lovers who love Halloween are in for a treat this spooky season, as equine charity Bransby Horses reopen their very own pumpkin picking patch in Lincoln.

Based just a few miles north of Lincoln, the annual attraction returns this autumn, with all proceeds going towards Bransby Horses’ vital animal welfare work.

Bransby Horse’s Pumpkin Patch will be open throughout October and those who attend can make a day of it by taking a walk around the 600-acre site which also has an award-winning visitor centre, café, charity shop, gift shop and a children’s play park. The perfect place to come pumpkin picking in Lincoln.

Marketing Manager, Laura Canfield said: “Just like the equines we care for, our pumpkins come in all different shapes and sizes so choosing your favourite might be difficult but, we charge a flat fee of just £3 for any size, which I’m sure people will agree, is pretty hard to beat.

“We can’t wait to celebrate autumn with everyone and hope to see some of you in your Halloween fancy dress.”

Children can also take part in our Hocus Pocus Halloween Scavenger Hunt at Bransby Horses. A magical quest filled with tricks, treats, and a dash of Halloween fun. Explore our grounds, solve spooky clues, and uncover hidden surprises along the way. It’s the perfect Halloween activity for kids to enjoy!

Come and wander through our pumpkin patch and choose the one that’s just right for you—whether you’re carving, decorating or making a delicious pie! Bring the kids, take photos, and enjoy a perfect autumn day outdoors at Bransby Horses.
