We are appealing to horse owners to donate any unwanted horse or pony rugs to us.
As a charity we sell equestrian equipment through Ebay and in our onsite second-hand goods store and a high demand for outdoor, turnout rugs has left our stock levels low.
All the funds raised from rug sales go directly back into funding the our equine welfare and rehabilitation work.
Bransby Horses spokesperson Maria Thompson said: “We are currently running low on turnout rugs and would appreciate donations of various sizes and weights. Don’t worry if the rugs are in need of small repairs as we can do this. If you have any rugs or equestrian items knocking about gathering dust then please consider dropping them off at our site in Bransby as every little helps.”
How to donate
You can drop off goods for donation at the Visitor Centre during opening hours or post them to: Donated Goods and Tack, Bransby Horses, Bransby, Lincoln, LN1 2PH
People are advised to call ahead if they have a large donation – and we will brief the team to be ready for their arrival.
We are open Wednesday to Sunday 10am – 4pm and seven days a week during Lincolnshire school holidays, Monday to Sunday, 10am – 4pm.
