Pecan arrived at Bransby Horses in 2016 with mum Cashew and dad Pistachio, when he was just four months old. 

He sadly suffers from breathing problems and he is being closely observed by our team of welfare staff and vets. He has additional medication to make sure this is monitored effectively, but this never dampens his spirits. He’s a real charmer! Pecan can be found at the Visitor Centre with the rest of his Shetland herd.

He loves playing with his feed bucket and having scratches and cuddles from his handlers.
