Pudding Books

Bransby Pudding was created by the team to create a magical and uplifting story to reflect the journey that so many of the horses, ponies, donkeys and mules that arrive here, go through.

Puddings breed is a Shetland pony. The Shetland pony is a Scottish breed of pony originating in the Shetland Isles in the north of Scotland and have existed in the Shetland Isles for over 2000 years and probably much longer.

Shetland Ponies are gentle, good-tempered, and very intelligent by nature. They make good children’s ponies, and are sometimes noted for having a “brave” character. They can be very opinionated or “cheeky” sometimes.
