Paws in the Paddock
Apr 27 @ 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

New for 2019, Paws in the Paddock is a fun filled day out for your and your dog.

On the day there will be specialist talks from Lecturer in Animal Management at Riseholme College, Verity Wainwright, discussing the how to health check your dog.  Kate Goulding, Centre trainer at Jerry Green dog rescue, will also be discussing training and behaviour, as well as Bethany Stukins, also from Jerry Green Dog Rescue who will give a talk on the History, Mission & Welfare at Jerry Green Dog Rescue.

There will also be plenty of opportunity to shop around the stalls on the day, take part in the Paws and Tours Dog Walk, Dog Show, hamper competition as well as have your picture taken in the ‘Smooch your Pooch’ photo booth.

The event is FREE to attend but donations are kindly accepted. There will be a charge to take part in some activities on the day.

Horse Owner Evening- Musculoskeletal Pain

An evening with the world-renowned expert, Dr Sue Dyson, Head of Clinical Orthopedics at The Animal Health Trust, who will be here to discuss how to determine the presence of musculoskeletal pain by ridden horse behaviour.

• The importance of ridden horse assessments to determine the presence of lameness.
• The work the Animal Health Trust have done to demonstrate how horses are trying to communicate with us.
• There are few ‘naughty’ horses.

 

TIME: 7.00pm – 9.00pm

LOCATION: Bransby Horses, Horse Sense Room (Lincoln, LN1 2PH)

TICKETS: £5.00 per person
