Donkey Talk and Tour Dates

Meet our donkey herds, learn more about these magnificent equines and the specialist care they receive.

If you wish to attend one of our Donkey Talk and Tours then please meet in the Visitor Centre Courtyard for 11am.

Welfare at Bransby Horses

Hear about our charity’s purpose and the vital rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming and sanctuary care work we do at Bransby Horses and within the community.

Make a Difference (MAD) Events

At our MAD events, our experienced team, accompanied by sector experts, will share their equine knowledge with horse owners as part of our ongoing mission to positively impact the lives of equines whenever we can. To learn more about our upcoming talks, visit our MAD events page.

An Equine’s Welfare Journey

Dive deeper in to some of the specific cases we have seen at Bransby Horses. Understand the impact on the equines involved, the charity and how you can play your part to improve welfare conditions for these deserving sentient beings.

If you wish to attend one of our talks then please meet in the Visitor Centre Courtyard for 11am.

Friday 12th April – We will be visiting 2 of our resident donkeys to learn more about their rehabilitation here at Bransby Horses. Discover how and why they were rescued, what welfare issues they were suffering from, what treatment and care they have received while with us and how your support contributes to improving their health and well-being.

Please note, these talks include a tour lasting approximately 40 minutes, though the pace is relatively gentle. The ground is accessible for wheelchair and pushchair users. We have wheelchairs available for loan free of charge to make this more comfortable for you if you so require. Please ask our friendly staff in the gift shop.
