Bransby Horses Chairman, Carole Fisher, has stepped down after seven years of extraordinary service. Vice Chair, Kathryn McFee will take over as Chairman in May, with Mike Pickles stepping in as Vice Chair.
Carole Fisher joined the Board of Trustees in 2010 and stepped into the role of Chairman in 2013. With a background in farming and agriculture and owner of a successful equestrian business, Carole was well-equipped to ensure the charity achieved its aims and objectives, and continued to deliver upon its mission.
Having helped the charity through their most challenging year, Carole has now decided to step down, but will remain on the Board of Trustees.
Bransby Horses CEO, Jo Snell, said: “On behalf of all of us at Bransby Horses – two-legged and four – I’d like to thank Carole for her time, devotion and guidance over the past decade. Carole has played an active role in helping the charity achieve its objectives and helped us adapt whilst facing our toughest challenges over the last 18 months.
“However, this is not goodbye – I’m pleased that we will continue to benefit from Carole’s knowledge and experience as a Trustee.”
