Bransby Horses attended North Lindsey College’s first Welfare Fair held on the 24th January 2018 at the college campus. The charity was joined by other welfare organisations and charities in the local area such as The RSPCA, Cats Protection and East Midlands dog rescue to promote their work in animal welfare.
The fair encouraged students at the campus to come and talk to local charities and organisations to learn more about their roles within the industry and how they work alongside one another in order to improve welfare. Having different charities represented gave a broad overview to students, however with the opportunity to discuss specific animal welfare, such as equine. Students also took part in the fair by having stalls selling cakes and tombola’s.
Bransby Horses supports and encourages the colleges work to promoting animal welfare and will continue to attend the fairs in the future to showcase our contribution in the equine industry, as well as to discuss opportunities at the charity with students.
