Bransby Horses has been awarded the VisitEngland Gold award.
Our charity is one of just 97 attractions out of potentially thousands across the UK, to have gained recognition this year as part of the VisitEngland Visitor Attraction Accolade.
Director of Engagement and Income Generation Sally Crawford said: “We are just over the moon to be sharing the news we have received a gold award for the visitor experience at Bransby Horses.
“Each year since the Visitor Centre at Bransby Horses opened we have received the Rose award (Recognition Of Service Excellence), but the Gold has always alluded us. This award celebrates the hard work and high levels of attention to detail our team here have shown – it is the highest accolade that can be awarded to visitor attraction by VisitEngland Assessment Services so we are extremely honoured to be receiving it.”
VisitEngland Accolades highlight the quality and diversity of attractions on offer across the country.
The winners, including Bransby Horses, were scored following their annual VisitEngland Visitor Attraction Quality Scheme assessments.
Marks are allocated for the outstanding experiences they provide to visitors across categories including Welcome, Best Told Story, Quality Food & Drink, Hidden Gem and Gold for overall winners.
VisitEngland Director Andrew Stokes said:“It’s so exciting to see our brilliant attractions providing outstanding experiences for visitors and to recognise and showcase the variety and quality across the country.”
