Join us on Saturday 21st August for the East Midlands Baton Exchange of The Great Horses for Health Relay. We’re excited to announce the baton exchange will take place between TikTok and YouTube sensation, Georgia Kavulok from Lilpetchannel, and a member of Bransby Horses’ Riding Barn Team from 9.30am.
The event will be followed by the launch of a Wellness Walk and Meet & Greet opportunity with Georgia from Lilpetchannel from 10.30am.
Wellness Walk
The Wellness Walk invites visitors of all ages to recognise the importance of their mental health and reflect in the beautiful surroundings of the Lincolnshire countryside. Nestled in acres of farmland, visitors will be able to just ‘be’ amongst the sights, sounds and smells of nature.
The walk can be accessed by a minimum £8 donation towards The Great Horses for Health UK Relay, which launched in May to celebrate how much our horses have supported us during the COVID-19 pandemic whilst also raising funds and promoting awareness for:
- Mental Health and Wellbeing: The huge positive impact from horses
- Safety: Horse and other vulnerable road users’ safety and awareness
- Welfare: Equine rescue and welfare
In return, supporters will receive access to the walk along with an exclusive goody bag supplied by The Great Horses for Health Relay team. Register on the day with our Fundraising Team who will be on hand to take your cashless payment.
Lilpetchannel
As well as taking part in the baton exchange, Georgia from Lilpetchannel will be available for socially distanced signings and photographs with visitors between 10.30am-12.30pm. Georgia runs popular TikTok and YouTube channels all about her seven horses and other pets, sharing everything equestrian with over 150,000 combined social media followers.
When asked to participate in the baton exchange, Georgia said, “I’d love to – sign me up!”
We look forward to seeing you
On arrival before 10.30am, visitors are encouraged to park in the Overflow Car Park and gather in the Visitor Centre Car Park to watch the baton exchange at a safe distance. The Visitor Centre Car Park will reopen to visitors at 10.30am. Following the morning’s events, visitors can enjoy the play park, browse the Gift Shop or grab a bite to eat in the Café.
