Tiny Trio Arrive at Bransby Horses

2nd August 2016

This tiny family of Shetland ponies came to Bransby Horses at the request of a council after they were abandoned on their land. Sadly, Pistachio, Cashew and Pecan were going to be euthanized if we couldn’t take them in.

Councils across the country are being forced to make the difficult decision to euthanize horses due to irresponsible owners who simply cast animals aside with no thought for their futures.

We have taken in a significant amount of equines over recent months. At our Lincolnshire Centre we are now caring for 401 horses, donkeys and mules; the highest ever number in the charity’s 48 year history.

Your support is vital so we can keep Bransby Horses running and never have to face the heart-breaking decision of turning horses away when they have nowhere else to go.
