Marlene (named after one of our late-loyal supporters) came to Bransby Horses with her five-month-old daughter Janice in December 2014, after they were removed from a field in an emaciated condition.

Marlene’s early years at Bransby Horses kept her busy, but she’s had plenty of time to settle down with her new herd and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. She especially loves being with Gnasha, and the two mums have formed a strong bond since their arrival, even though their personalities are quite different.
