Join us at Bransby Horses as an Equine Welfare Assistant.

Summary of the Role

We are currently looking for 2 full time permanent and 2 part time permanent Equine Welfare Assistants.

Full time roles are 37.5 hours per week and part time roles are weekend roles, Saturday and Sunday 15 hours per week.

Spread across five specialist yards, our Equine Welfare Assistants ensure that every equine in our care is handled with care and compassion, has access to clean water, feed and suitable shelter. The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates with the following:

• a minimum of a level 2 qualification in equine studies
• at least 1 years previous experience of working with equines
• good communication skills and works well as part of a team
• sound knowledge of equine care and health needs
• demonstrable handling skills with a good health and safety awareness
• a good level of fitness due to the physically demanding nature of the role
