Equine Welfare Assistant – Full Time Temporary

Summary of the Role

We are looking for a full time temporary Equine Welfare Assistant 37.5 hours per week for 9 months.

Salary grade 8a, £23,810.00 – £24,416.00.

Spread across five specialist yards, our Equine Welfare Assistants ensure that every equine in our care is handled with care and compassion, has access to clean water, feed and suitable shelter. The ideal candidate

We are looking for candidates with the following:

• a minimum of a level 2 qualification in equine studies
• at least 1 years previous experience of working with equines
• good communication skills and works well as part of a team
• sound knowledge of equine care and health needs
• demonstrable handling skills with a good health and safety awareness
• a good level of fitness due to the physically demanding nature of the role
