Come And Hear Our Free Grassland Management Talk For Horse Owners

11th July 2024

Members of the team responsible for maintaining all 1,300 acres of our land will be sharing their knowledge at a free educational event next week on Wednesday 17th July.

Aimed at horse and landowners, the event will cover useful topics from managing land, sustainability, creating pastures for different types of horses and preserving grassland.

Senior press officer Maria Thompson said: “From too much grass in the summer to flooded land through the winter, managing your grazing can feel like an uphill struggle. This event is a great one for anyone who wants to get the most out of their grazing.

“When you rely, as so many of us do, on small areas of grazing to sustain your equines, it’s important to get the very best out of it and we hope by sharing our extensive knowledge and experience of this we can give owners a helping hand.”

Grassland Management is part of our Make A Difference information evenings and will be held at our main site in Bransby near Lincoln on Wednesday 17th July at 11am.

Everyone is welcome and the talk is free, but booking is essential as places are limited.
