Meet the Rehoming Team
Meet the team behind our amazing rehoming programme, helping hundreds of equines find their Perfect Partner.

Natasha Brocklehurst

Rehoming Manager

I oversee the Rehoming Officer, Coach and Coordinator roles within the Rehoming team. I am also responsible for the nationwide Perfect Partner Scheme with currently facilitates 644 equines out in homes. My focus is supporting the Rehoming Team with decision making, communicating with Fosterers and assessing equines for rehoming suitability.

Making a difference to equines in need. It is so rewarding to be part of this process and to have the honour of finding homes for these equines. I also enjoy developing relationships with our fosterers and supporters, we have a wonderful network of people and it’s interesting to hear their stories and connections to equines.

After studying and working in the equine industry for 15 years, I joined Bransby Horses in 2019 as Team Leader in the Riding Barn. This encapsulated my passion for backing and training equines ready for rehoming with welfare at the forefront.

I was appointed as Rehoming Manager in March 2025, and I am extremely proud to continue the success of the Perfect Partner scheme and be part of Bransby Horses.

I do enjoy music which always helps after a long day. If I am honest, it would also involve more horse adventures!

Hayley Pearce

Rehoming Co-ordinator

My role consists of communicating with the yard staff to match the most suitable equine to the applications that come in. I also support new fosterers throughout the rehoming process along with lots of other admin roles.

I really enjoy when a Bransby Horses equine has gone into their new home and we get amazing updates from the fosterer to say how well they are doing, and the fact that the equine has a one to one forever home.

I love spending time with my horse and my family, going walking with my friends, and going to my sons rugby matches.

Yes, I have an Irish Draught mare, she is 18 years old but acts like a six year old and can be sassy at times which I love. She is my Princess.

Helen Bateman

Rehoming Officer

My role involves checking the suitability of a potential fosterers premises before organising their first visit to site. Once an equine has left the charity, I then handle the six-monthly and yearly visits to equines in their foster homes. I also liaise with fosterers regularly, ensuring they are happy and helping to resolve any issues.

I enjoy watching the equine thrive in their new homes, especially if they have been at Bransby Horses for a long time. It’s very rewarding.

13 years ago, I was asked to help out the Rehoming Team for a few days a week. This later turned into a permanent role and I have been working with the charity ever since.

I have two dogs called Luna and Nala. They are Shitzu x Toy Poodles and are half sisters. They’re both very cheeky and love to play.

Amy Baylis

Rehoming Coach

I manage the ridden equines whilst in external training, and find perfect matches for all our ridden equines. I work in collaboration with the British Horse Society on their Second Chance scheme and also provide support to fosterers with our equines out in ridden homes.

It varies, I may be in the office completing paperwork and contacting fosterers or potential fosters about equines. I could also be out on the road visiting our equines in external training and tracking their progress or providing support visits.

Getting the updates. I love to see the photos of our equines out in the world, kept safe and having fun in their new homes. Especially when you see the smiles of the children on their Bransby ponies.

My children take up most of my time. I’m busy either being a pony club or rugby mum, so effectively a groom and chauffer for them. I am also heavily involved in Pony Club as the District Commissioner for our local club.
