Bransby Horses is open Wednesday to Sunday 10am – 4pm.
During Lincolnshire’s school holidays we are pleased to open seven days a week, Monday to Sunday, 10am – 4pm.
We are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
We are also open 7 days during Lincolnshire school holidays and bank holidays as follows;
Wednesday 20th July – Sunday 4th September
Wednesday 19th October – Sunday 30th October
Wednesday 14th December – Saturday 24th December
What’s On
Our family activities provide fun and entertainment whilst giving you the opportunity to see our rescued residents across the site. Each activity costs £3.50 per child which includes a prize for completing the activity. There is no need to book – simply ask in the Gift Shop.

We have two upcoming events as part of our Make A Difference series – our first events since the pandemic.
Wednesday 13th July 6.30pm-9pm
Join us on Wednesday 13th July for our free event where we will be joined by special guests from the British Horse Society and Lincolnshire Police. Meet Bransby Horses’ Welfare Team who work on the frontline of our welfare and rescue work and hear them talk with our special guests about the BHS’s Dead Slow Campaign and how you can help make a difference to horses in the community.

Cafe
Home to our famous sausage rolls, Victoria sponge, English breakfasts, Afternoon Tea’s and plenty of delicious cake choices, the Bransby Horses 5* hygiene rated Cafe offers something for everyone.
We are proud to stock locally produced Stokes Coffee and Breckland Orchard soft drinks. We offer delightful vegan and gluten-free options too.
The Bransby Horses Cafe is open 10am-4pm. Please note, hot food is served until 2.45pm and hot drinks and cake are served until 3.45pm.
Instagram blogger @mamabenatural wrote about her visit in May 2022:“The donkeys were our favourites as they were very interactive and it was particularly amusing when they all started ‘he-hawing’ at each other.
“We also enjoyed looking around the donated goods shop and the girls where super excited to find some My Little Pony figures.
“We finished our visit with a cup of tea and some delicious vegan chocolate cake in the tastefully decorated and clean café.”

Our Donated Goods and Tack Shop is open to pick up a pre-loved bargain. We can accept your kind donations of household items and tack during opening hours which help us fundraise to care for the 500+ equines in our care. We also list some of our pre-loved items on eBay.

Countryside Walks
Our Bransby visitor site spans across 600 acres of beautiful countryside and we have hundreds of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules living on site just waiting to meet you.
Take a stroll with family or friends in the heart of the picturesque Lincolnshire countryside on one of many signposted walkways. We now have a recommended 40 minute countryside walk designed with buggy and wheelchair users in mind – simply pick up a Welcome Leaflet on arrival for a map and route, or speak to one of our friendly team who will be able to direct you.
Bookings
All children’s activities do not require you to book, simply turn up and ask in the Visitor Centre.
